Photonic Therapy is a treatment of broad band 660nm red light that is applied to acupuncture points to initiate a specific physiological outcome This light is absorbed by the body and is converted into electrical energy through connective tissue beneath the skin.
The stimulation of particular combinations of acupuncture points sends information from connective tissue electrically via the nerve cells to the brain. As a result the brain releases neurochemicals which relieve pain, enhance immune response and encourage healing.
Photonic Therapy stimulates tissue safely and painlessly.
For most conditions generally six to eight treatments are necessary. (two to three times per week until the treatment is complete)
